Hello! You found me. Thanks for stopping by. I began my freelance videography and editing career in 2011 after graduating from a masters program in Appalachian Studies at Appalachian State University in North Carolina.
Since then, I’ve worked with Appalshop, Tom Hansell, Appalachian Voices, Transhealth Northampton, The Blowing Rock Art and History Museum, The Foothills Conservancy, Mars Hill University, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Anna and Elizabeth, and many Southern Appalachian musicians.
In 2016, I moved to Vermont to begin work as an apprentice editor with Florentine Films on an 8-part documentary series titled Country Music. The project was completed in 2019 and then I hiked 1600 miles on the Appalachian Trail.
My latest project was with Ewers Brothers Productions as an assistant editor on a documentary series about mental health which to aired on PBS in spring 2022. I’m currently working as a freelance filmmaker and musician in Vermont and North Carolina.
